Premiere Vision is a global event for the fashion industry that takes place 2 times a year for 3 days at Paris-Nord Villepinte supplying the fashion industry with designs, fabrics, yarns, accessorires and manufacturing. If you are a student you get in for free which is good yet you feel slightly out of place and the place is swarmed with fashion buyers, designers, marketers all there for business but it's still a good experience as you get to see the latest trends in fashion such as the patterns, fabrics and colours. It worth checking out if you plan to have a career in fashion.
This was a first time experience for me. On the train i could see fellow indiviuals on there way to the event, mapping out the sections they want to visit in the exibition. I reccomend doing this as the event is so big you can easily spend 5 hours there. it's good to know what you are looking for and sections you need to go to, it makes the experience 100 x easier.
It is really strict on photography for copyright reasons etc but i managed to take a few just so that i could remember the experience. Overall it was a amazing experience as you are able to see how the fashion industry really works and how it's not all pretty models and catwalks, it's business!!
